it's 3:11AM and it's impulsive journal feature time!
i've an impossibly overambitious plan to eventually feature all the favorites in my collection, somewhat-thematically, no less.
allow me to attempt such a feat with at least a small bit of the sweetest of the sweet.
may i present:

inspired, in part, by a recent 7-tube drawing of blood. don't ask.

this would make part 1 of... many.
after i have a couple more, i'll collate them into a news article.

"awefully welded"

hello dears,

please pardon my absence of late, for i've been busy getting married...

and

are now officially husband and wife.

in true deviantArt fashion, we found our wedding bands here on dA:

the first works i completed after taking my vows were a visual-poem closely tied to our relationship, a new twisted panorama from a romantic wintry walk, and a video from my escape to NYC before Valentine's Day:

i came home for la dia de los enamorados and we gave our deceased parakeet a proper burial.

i hope everyone had a lovely day, loving oneself and one another, always!

i have many messages and deviations to catch up with, so thank you all so very much for the features, comments, 's, 's, and everything else- until i thank you personally!
and please forgive that it's taking me some time to look through your new deviations.

...i have a number of new twisted panoramas waiting to be assembled, and a very slow-moving, conflicated creation in clay is the current longer-term WIP...

i hope everyone had a happy new year!
and i wish you all lots of creative fulfillment in this 2010.

i am going to do a feature soon, so i wanted to ask for your advice and/or suggestions.
my main concern is - do i need to get the artists' permissions before i feature their work, or do i just let them know when they've been featured...?
my experience has been the latter, but i just want to be sure.

wishing a wonderful new year to all!

i went wild with the gift-wraps and bubble-wraps for the holidays, like i did last year, and when it was all sent out there was a bit of coming down...
so last night i finally sank my hands into some clay after many many years. hope this will be a fruitful medium for me soon....
i also recently started combining my texts with visuals, as i've been planning to do for some time. i know that it's harder to examine and critique literature deviations than images, so i regard every fave and comment on those as a little extra-special...
i have joined several more clubs/groups, mostly related to dark arts, but i also hope to find more audience for for the landscape panoramas/montages i've been making obssessively...

i would like to do a feature in my journal some time soon, but i'm a little vague about the rules. if you have any suggestions or would like to have something featured, please do leave a comment or send me a note!
